Australian Mining Road Train Driver and Employment

Mine companies commonly use large trucks to move materials around from one site to another. An individual who operates this type of truck is commonly referred to as a road train driver. Working as a road train driver is a very rewarding job and is not as physically demanding as some of the other jobs in this line of work can be. Some Mining companies offer salaries of up to $100,000 a year for a road train driver.

If you are looking to gain a road train driver position, you probably have many questions on your mind. The more prepared you are during the initial application process, the more likely that you will be able to nail an interview. You'll want to have all the right licenses and certifications, you may need training or you may be able to find a traineeship for a road train driver position in a city near you.
